Here at Saaf Skincare we are super proud of all our accreditations, be it Cruelty Free or the Soil Association as each represents our desire to produce, the purest, most ethical skincare range possible.
All our products are Vegetarian Society approved and our serums and oils are also Vegan Society approved. The folks at the Vegan Society cannot approve our balms as they contain Organic Beeswax, so Vegans may wish to avoid these. All our products are certified organic by the Soil Association – these guys are one of the toughest cookies when it comes to certifying products as organic, so if you see the Soil Association logo on a product, you know it’s at least 70% organic. To use the word ‘Organic’ in the brand name (like we do!) there needs to be at least 95% organic ingredients. In fact the only ingredient in the Saaf range that isn’t organic is the Vitamin E we use, which sadly cannot be sourced organically. It’s as natural as it comes however!
You may wonder what Halal Certified means – well, the first benefit is that you can be certain that a Halal certified range is alcohol free – from the production processes to the ingredients used – but that the ingredients are also free from genetic modification, irradiation and animal testing. Something that Cruelty Free International also recognise in the Saaf range.
Did you also know that the word Saaf means ‘Pure’ in Persian. We think that’s pretty apt.
